KARACHI: Director General of FIA Sindh in a letter to the provincial government on Sunday had requested to suspend two individuals wanted for steel mill corruption case who are currently in high government posts.
According to FIA sources the letter includes names of grade 21 officer Rasool Bakhsh Phulphoto and grade 20 officer Sameen Asghar.
FIA officials also said that the individuals accused for steel mill corruption, at that time held positions of director commercial and director marketing. Rasool Baksh is currently appointed as the secretary works and services.
On inquiring, FIA Director Sindh Moazam Jah Ansari confirmed the letter had been sent and added that he had informed the government that these two individuals are accused of corruption cases including a steel mill corruption charge of 22 Billion rupees.
Where as FIA officials also recently confirmed the arrests of four individuals involved in the steel mill corruption case, Rafique Jewani, Abuzubaida Farooqi, Rehan Farooqi and Ahmed Hussain Jewani. – DawnNews
