KARACHI: A meeting between Interior Minister Rehman Malik and MQM took place on Wednesday at the Governor House, however, none of the PPP members were present.

MQM was represented by Faisal Sabzwari, Dr Farooq Sattar and Raza Haroon. 
           
The meeting focused on the violence in Karachi and the dispute that took place between PPP and MQM members in the Sindh Assembly session on Tuesday. MQM party representatives had then staged a walk out from the assembly.

MQM boycotted Wednesday's assembly session in protest and demanded an apology from PPP on the floor of Sindh Assembly.
