ISLAMABAD: Capital Police arrested 32 suspects during a search operation in a high-security zone in Islamabad on Saturday.

According to police officials, the suspects were arrested from the vicinity of the Bari Imam area and a high-security zone.

Fifty-three houses in the slum areas near Bari Imam were searched during the operation, which was jointly carried out by Capital Police and members of the Bomb Disposal Squad.

Meanwhile, police spokesman said another 18 suspects were arrested in the vicinity of Golra, Margallah, Sihala, Shalimar, Bhara Kau and Tarnol Sabzi Mandi police stations.
