ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani termed the resolution of long outstanding issues such as Kashmir with India prerequisites for long lasting and durable peace in the region.

Gilani was speaking to the foreign minister of Norway who called on him at the PM house.

Gilani stressed that Pakistan was sincere in pursuing friendly relations with all its neighbours.

He urged Norway to play a pro-active role in the FoDP and help Pakistan undertake development in areas which have been cleared of militants.—DawnNews
